Season 11, Episode 4:
Quite disturbing about a struggling new mother including leaving her baby outside without her attendance.
Harrowing on a patient’s husband who has horrid memories of being in a Nazi concentration camp.

Season 12, Episode 5:
Matthew gets a visit from his father and quite sad that he suddenly passed just after the two had an argument together.
Cyril is shocked to find out that Lucille has gotten a job for six months in Jamaica perhaps a strong indication that she won’t be coming back to Poplar at all.
Meanwhile the chairman of the board of health pays Nonnatus House and has given new edict of how things are going to be which is not exactly convenient to whom the edict is meant for.

Season 12, Episode 7:
Penultimate episode of season 12.
Cyril comes back to Poplar but without Lucille, once again giving the indication that she won’t be coming back.
Quite sad that Sister Monica Joan has contracted hepatitis with grave fears for her.
Matthew sure took a huge stand on Poplar’s housing crisis at the council leading to Violet, a council member, suggesting that he stand for election to the council himself.

Season 12, Episode 8:
Season 12 finale.
I like the saying being said here of love is where life is and that is something I had always appreciated.
Tragedy struck with a couple when the pregnant wife is killed from it but fortunately the baby is delivered safely.
Glad that to know that Nonnatus House is safe with this season coming to an end.

Season 13, Episode 5:
A lovely excursion into the seaside turned into a little tragedy for May.
May fortunately survived but unfortunately led to questions whether Turners should continue to foster her from authorities concerned.
Also tragedy about a family with kids with eye cancers.

Season 13, Episode 7:
Penultimate episode of season 13.
Joyce has an unexpected visitor who says he is her cousin.
When they are alone however it is revealed he is not Joyce's cousin but instead her estranged husband.
She walked out on him because he was violent on her.
That is a shocker and Joyce contemplates what to do about him.
Another shocker is the identity of expectant mother Alison's baby.
A similar theme to what went on with Alison was also explored in Death In Paradise 13.3 Serving Up Murder which was shown the week before.
The two series has been shown back to back since Death In Paradise season 13 opener ran alongside Call The Midwife 13.5.
However Call The Midwife took a week off when the said Death In Paradise 13.3 came on.
